The “Job dans la Ville” (job in the city) programme aims to promote training and workplace integration for youngsters from the age of 14 upwards.
First and foremost, mentoring is a personal, unpaid initiative.
For the mentors, the objectives are:
- to help youngsters participating in the programme to draw up and implement their Professional and Personal Project,
- to share their experience of the working world and their profession,
- to help the youngsters build their own professional network by introducing them to other professionals in their sector of interest.
Mentors, who must be working professionals, undertake to meet their mentee once a year, between November and July, and to help them meet their objectives.
