Aid to the victims of Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam
On September 6, 2024, an especially powerful typhoon struck Vietnam, as well as China, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Laos, causing more than 650 deaths and thousands of injuries.

To best support local populations on a humanitarian level, an emergency fund was granted to the organization Action Education in Vietnam, enabling a response to the vital needs of communities affected by the typhoon, ensuring continuity of education, and restoring livelihoods for the most impacted households.
The grant contributed to the construction of a 108 m³ water tank for the Ta Cuy Ti boarding school, the restoration and securing of a building at the Nam Cay preschool, and the installation of a 5.5 km water connection between Nam Det primary school and a reliable drinking water source.
