Creation of a waste recovery center
Creation of an organization responsible for managing waste and combating its impacts, with the aim of spreading this approach as widely as possible in the commune of Sibassor and its surrounding areas.
Two Artelia volunteers carried out a feasibility study for the creation of the recycling center, as well as all the design and sizing work for the future building.
"This mission in Senegal for AfricEcoSynergie was a truly enriching experience, both professionally and personally. I really appreciated the fieldwork and the interactions with local stakeholders, especially the committed youth from the TES association. Their motivation to take action for the environment and to find sustainable solutions to the issue of plastic waste in Sibassor was truly inspiring to me.
