Improving the learning conditions of students in Kossicopé
Supporting residents in the construction of sustainable school and health infrastructure to improve learning and hygiene conditions over the long term. This project promotes better access to education in improved material conditions, while also enhancing the health of children and the wider community.
An Artelia team member provided support to the project through Project Owner Assistance (AMO). This assistance helped prepare and monitor the progress of the construction site, ensured the proper implementation of the selected technical solutions, and strengthened local project management capacities.
This technical support is part of a co-construction and skills transfer approach, which is essential to ensure the long-term sustainability of the infrastructure put in place.
I would like to thank the Togolese project team—Espoir, Roger, the teachers, the company SCM TP, the children of Kossicopé, and the local authorities—for the moments they shared with us and their generosity.
Despite being over 50 years old, we learned so much from them, both on a human and technical level. I realized that there are other approaches just as effective as our European certainties.
