Launch of the ENGAGE Award 2026, promoting students’ initiatives for solidarity and environment.
1. GENERAL CONTEXT
The Artelia Foundation wishes to encourage solidarity and/or environmental protection initiatives undertaken by students as part of their higher education curriculum, or as part of their collective commitments. In line with the Artelia Foundation's commitment to fostering the involvement of its employees, this call for projects encourages young adults to get involved in initiatives of general interest, by applying the skills and expertise acquired during their studies.
2. PRESENTATION OF THE AWARD
The ENGAGE AWARD 2026 is designed to support projects that fall within one of the Foundation's areas of intervention:
- Development aid: promoting access to water, hygiene and sanitation, energy or decent housing in order to guarantee these fundamental services to the most disadvantaged.
- Environmental protection: help preserve resources and ecosystems and mitigate and adapt to climate change.
- Social and professional integration: helping people in precarious or excluded situations to live with dignity through access to employment, housing and sport, and encouraging the creation of social links.
Financial Support
The total budget for this call for projects is €10,000, distributed as follows:
- 1st Prize: €5,000
- 2nd Prize: €3,000
- 3rd Prize: €2,000
Human support
In addition to this financial contribution, Artelia employees can also provide support, if required, in the form of skills-based philanthropy. This support will be defined with the project leaders to best meet their needs for expertise. It may concern the project's own activities or respond to other project needs.
3. WHO CAN APPLY TO THE AWARD?
Eligibility criteria
• The organization carrying out the project must be a non-profit association and of general interest.
• The project must be non-profit-making.
• The project must be run by a student organization, or a group of students affiliated with a higher education institution
• The project must be ongoing, or start before December, 31st 2026.
Selection criteria
• Technical and financial feasibility of the project.
• Quality of the project methodology.
• Project's expected environmental and social impact.
• The grant awarded by the Artelia Foundation cannot represent the total budget of the project.
Particular attention will be paid to :
• Project justification and contextualization.
• The means implemented to ensure the project's sustainability (financing, governance, etc.).
• Anticipation of project monitoring, evaluation and assessment procedures.
Note: Projects, even if they fall within the intervention areas of the Artelia Foundation, are not eligible if they consist exclusively of artistic or cultural activities, events or exhibitions, or travel.
4. HOW TO APPLY
The application should contain the following attachments:
- Project application form in English.
- Project presentation video or pitch (5 min maximum), in English.
- Charity’s legal status.
- Detailed project budget and financing plan.
- Any documents required for a better understanding of the project.
5. CALENDAR
- January 15th 2026: Launch of the Engage Award 2026
- March 15th 2026: Deadline for submission of projects
- April 2026: Review and selection of projects by the jury
- End of April 2026: Announcement of results
