Catherine Baldassarre joined the Artelia Group in 2001 after gaining experience with a consulting firm, during which she assisted employees with their professional development. As well as being HR Director of Artelia in France and Deputy HR Director for the Group, she chairs the social affairs committee at Syntec Ingénierie and is a member of an employment tribunal ("conseil de prud'hommes").
A conviction that human and social relations are crucial to development has been a common thread running through her career. It is also reflected in her work with the Foundation, through both her involvement in sponsorship programmes and her role on the BoD assisting in the selection of sustainable projects in a variety of fields promoting human values. This adventure enables all employees who get involved to grow as people by meeting new people from different backgrounds and having unforgettable experiences, while also helping to forge links between men and women within and outside Artelia.
