Created in 2006 by Jacques Gaillard, the Artelia Foundation supports a number of non-profit organisations that are working to promote solidarity and protect the environment around the world. Our support takes the form of financial aid, but first and foremost consists in mobilising human resources through the commitment of Artelia Group employees, who thus place their skills and expertise at the service of supported projects.
Our mission
To help improve the living conditions of disadvantaged populations and preserve our planet's resources.
In the field, non-profit organisations are looking for specific skills that are sometimes far removed from their core business, in order to implement their projects. It's in this context that working with our Foundation makes perfect sense!
Fostering and supporting a desire to take action, along with developing awareness, are the cornerstones for our philanthropic work.
Since its creation, the Artelia Foundation has been shaped by the core values that guide our actions, defining our identity and our commitment to charities. In this constantly evolving world, our foundation strives to inspire positive change and goes beyond economic concerns to contribute actively to building a fair and equitable society.
Our mission is centred around three fundamental pillars : development aid, environmental protection, and social and professional integration.
We believe that every action matters, every initiative makes a difference, and everyone has a role to play. This conviction guides the work of our foundation today.
Our areas of expertise
Social and environmental issues are closely linked. The most vulnerable people are the least prepared and yet the most exposed to the consequences of climate change and dwindling resources. For this reason, we are driven by the ambition to support projects that have a holistic approach and that promote the emergence of integrated responses to the various challenges we face, throughout the world.
Development aid
We are taking action to promote access to water, hygiene, sanitation, energy and decent housing - the basic services that the most disadvantaged are unable to access.
Environmental protection
Taking local action to promote the circular economy and preserve resources, protect ecosystems and mitigate and adapt to climate change.
Social and professional integration
Recreating social links through employment, housing, sport or any other area. Caring for others is important to us and essential to helping people in precarious or excluded situations to live with dignity.
