older of a degree in hydraulics from INP Grenoble, Marc Giroussens is today the Senior vice president and Development director of the Artelia Group. 

As a design engineer and then project manager for land development and flood risk management projects in south-west France, Marc Giroussens contributed for decades to the development of Sogreah, where he was a member of the Executive Committee. He was then appointed Administrator of the Artelia Group, the result of the merger of Coteba and Sogreah in 2010, in its initial consolidation phase. His career continued on international projects in the water, energy and environment sectors as Executive Director of the Artelia Water, Africa and Middle East Business Unit.

Marc Giroussens wanted to get involved in the philanthropic adventure of the Artelia Foundation, because if the engineering profession is useful to the world, it is the men and women who pass the knowledge on. The Artelia Foundation is a wonderful mechanism for sharing the knowledge of its employees with associations. Marc Giroussens will bring his knowledge of the businesses, operational teams and territories he has had the good fortune to manage.
