Aid to the victims of the earthquake in Myanmar
On March 28, 2025, a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck Myanmar, causing over 3,300 deaths and thousands of injuries. According to a United Nations estimate, more than 3 million people were affected by the disaster, in a context already marked by political tensions and a civil war that has been ongoing for four years.

To best support the local populations on a humanitarian level, an emergency fund was granted to our long-time partner, Enfants du Mékong, with whom we have been collaborating for nearly 20 years.
The aid provided addressed several priorities:
-
Ensuring immediate access to water, food, and electricity for the most affected families.
-
Securing living spaces (schools, shelters, etc.) on an emergency basis.
-
Rebuilding and sustainably reinforcing school buildings and residential facilities for children and students.
Their action plan is divided into three complementary phases, ranging from emergency response to reconstruction and long-term development, in order to provide sustainable support to the victims of the earthquake and the civil war.
