Commercial prospecting to boost business at the BOSCO workshops

Prospecting in the building sector to enable the workshop to establish new partnerships and win new projects. Support in the preparation of Curricula Vitae also offered the trainees an opportunity to improve their employability.

The people who work in the BOSCO workshops do a remarkable job of helping men in extremely precarious situations. Undocumented and coming from a background of prostitution, the trainees are often far removed from the world of work and lead a life that is hard to imagine when you come to the office every morning and go home every evening... With the aim of reintegration, the workshops offer them painting work, but also a community life, guidance for everyday life, and training. My assignment had two objectives: to find painting sites that would allow the trainees to have an activity with the BOSCO workshops, and to help them find their way back into employment by putting them in touch with companies that could take them on placements with a view to hiring them. The little time we shared was a remarkable lesson in humility!
