FORMASOL project: Empowering communities in Burkina Faso through solar power
Creation of a solar school in partnership with the university of Koudougou to provide training in photovoltaic systems and to raise the awareness of the community on energy consumption.
"I had the opportunity to be on the Artelia Foundation jury selecting the winners of a call for projects for an inclusive energy transition. My colleague Grégoire Vinchant (for the structural expertise aspects) and I (for solar expertise) also participated in the Laafi project which involved installing a rooftop solar system in a village in Burkina Faso. It was such a rewarding experience to collaborate remotely and to discuss the design of the solar system with stakeholders based on three different continents!
