Boosting the energy self-sufficiency of the École Technique de Hammana school in Lebanon. The aim of the project is to ensure reliable and sustainable access to energy for the school.
Two Artelia experts provided technical training to teachers and students for the energy audit of the buildings and the design of the photovoltaic system.
This assignment was carried out in partnership with the IECD, and was extremely rewarding. We had lots of discussions with the partner and the teachers at the school, and that helped us gain a better understanding of the situation and what was needed, while also taking local complexities into account. We were deeply touched by the incredibly warm welcome we received from the Lebanese people.
