PULSE Call for Projects: A Successful First Edition!

In 2025, the Artelia Foundation launched its first internal call for projects.

This initiative emerged from strategic reflections within the Foundation, with the aim of strengthening employee involvement in its actions.

The goal is to enable employees to directly propose associations and projects that matter to them, aligned with our three areas of intervention – environmental protection, development aid, and social and professional inclusion.

This first edition was a success: more than 30 applications from different Business Units and 3 countries were submitted, and 22 winning projects were selected. These projects reflect the diversity of commitments carried by our teams and are fully in line with the Foundation’s values.

Beyond funding, this call for projects also aims to create lasting relationships with associations.

We warmly thank all participants for their commitment! This first edition marks the beginning of a promising dynamic that we look forward to continuing together!

Below is a comprehensive list of the selected projects :

 

 

Development Aid :

FFONDATOR – Jérémie ROSAN: Owner of land in Franceville (Gabon), the association’s goal is to create and build an orphanage equipped with classrooms and a dining hall to provide shelter, hope, and support to orphans.

Association Ounoumbaba Développement (AOD) – Abdoul Aziz KOITA: The project aims to strengthen the healthcare system in the rural Banké region of Senegal by building a new clinic, including a maternity ward and two housing units for healthcare staff. The objective is to expand the range of care and improve patient treatment.

Abaana Afrika e.V – Guido STEINFORTH: The project of this German NGO, ongoing for nearly 10 years, is to support three schools and a training center in Uganda, which mainly offers courses in hairdressing and sewing. The project primarily targets young girls and women to promote their financial independence and personal development.

Entraide Vietnam – Jean-Paul TA: The project aims to support the most disadvantaged children and families in rural areas. It includes building one new well to ensure access to drinking water, funding education and training, and distributing food parcels and school supplies.

 

 

Environmental Protection :

Pousses d’artisans – Mathilde THIROUIN: Le Bric à Mat’, driven by Pousses d’Artisans, is a solidarity-based third-place in Lille featuring a material library, a tool library, and a shared workshop. Its goal is to repurpose construction materials creatively. The project has a strong social dimension, creating three jobs (including two for reintegration) and organizing participatory workshops to pass on skills to people far from employment.   

Atelier 21 – Valérie BANNEVILLE: The project aims to raise awareness and support households in disadvantaged neighborhoods facing energy poverty through three pilot workshops and the production/distribution of low-tech kits.

A l’eau Castor – Magalie STRUB: The association plans to reintroduce the European beaver in the Ariège department to revitalize waterways and increase their resilience to climate change.

Rehkitzrettung Kreis Euskirchen e.V – Tim HECKEL: This project in Germany seeks to protect juvenile wildlife, particularly fawns, during agricultural harvests. The association uses drones to locate and secure animals before mowing.

Débrouille Compagnie – Mourad BOUTROS: The project involves running a shared educational garden incorporating ecological practices such as composting and urban farming. It aims to promote sustainable gardening in cities, strengthen social ties, and offer workshops and events open to neighborhood residents (Paris 19th district).

Nord Nature Environnement – Sandrine ROBIN: Organizing nature outings for 20 to 30 young people who have dropped out of school and are followed in a mental health center. The goal is to create social bonds and work on their recovery with the help of health professionals.

V-REEF – Guillaume HENNION-GRUARD: This association carries out several actions to preserve Guadeloupe’s coral reefs and their ecosystem. Among them, the CaLaO project, dedicated to protecting long-spined sea urchins, combines scientific research and public awareness.

Planète Action Tours – Olivier RAYNAUD: Organizing film debates on major environmental and societal issues. The goal is to spark collective reflection and identify concrete local actions to fight climate change.

Les Jardins Collectifs Bizanosiens – Charlotte MORLAS: The project aims to run an educational garden where fruits and vegetables are grown for personal consumption. It also creates opportunities for sharing between different groups and organizes events.

 

 

Social and Professional Inclusion :

Au Cœur de la Diversité – Alexandra DUBOIS: The association is developing an inclusive housing project in Beaujolais, called “Hameau des Montgolfiers.” It will include housing for people with autism, integrated into a hamlet with seniors and a third-place community space. The goal is to promote autonomy and social connection.

Terre’happy du Vent – Claude GUILBAUD: The association offers inclusive nautical activities centered around sailing. The project aims to organize outings with inmates and former inmates from the Chambéry Detention Center, accompanied by writing workshops led by a teacher and a poet who is a former inmate. It also includes outings for people with disabilities in partnership with another association.

Equipage Solidaire – Hugo BOUVET: Launched in Nantes in 2021, “Délivraide” is the association’s main project: the first platform and mobile app in France allowing students in difficulty to receive free food and hygiene kits delivered to their homes. The current project aims to develop cycle-logistics to ensure more sustainable and responsible deliveries.

AFEV – Agathe DAHAN: Through its Mentoring program in Le Havre, the association supports struggling students with personalized guidance and cultural outings (theater, dance, cinema, exhibitions…). This project promotes academic success and personal development.

Energie Jeunes – Jonathan BERTRAND: In the schools of Mafate, Réunion Island, children are very isolated. This project aims to foster school engagement by using the Energie Jeunes program to develop their psychosocial skills and strengthen motivation.

ARSLA – Simon GUILBAUD: The association is developing a project to provide adapted clothing for people with ALS (Charcot disease), in partnership with a specialized company.

Construire l’Architecture – Oriane GUILLOUET-LAMY: The association’s project involves organizing educational days on biomimicry in architecture and climate change issues, aimed at children and families from disadvantaged neighborhoods, with the help of architecture students.

Institut de l’Engagement – Alice OLIVE: Implementing individual support for women facing school dropout or socio-economic difficulties. This program includes workshops designed to foster personal and academic recovery, strengthen confidence, broaden career prospects, and promote gender equality.

Tous au Sommet – Jean-Baptiste GUIDE: The association’s project organizes inclusive outings for visually impaired people in the Alps, supervised by a mountain guide, as well as cultural visits. The goal is to enable participants to tackle challenging terrain and collectively overcome a challenge, fostering autonomy, confidence, and cohesion.
