Setting up a community kitchen
The bakery and pastry workshop are in critical need of renovation. Cracks in the structure and water infiltration
pose a serious threat to hygiene and health standards. This directly impacts the safety of the food products handled by the trainers and students.
One voluntary of Artelia worked as skills sponsorship arrangement providing technical and project management expertise to guide the renovation process. He also defined the specific needs for renovation and supervised the construction work on-site.
The Artelia Foundation played a key role in the implementation of our kitchen at the Nyéléni garden site in Lil'Ô. Thanks to their support, we were able to benefit from invaluable expertise in the design of the kitchen, including plans and technical advice. What's more, their financial support was crucial to the realisation of this project, enabling us to bring our vision to life. We are deeply grateful to the Artelia Foundation for their commitment and support, which has helped to promote healthy eating in our region.
