Tourism development of Geopark sites
Implementation of technical solutions adapted to the local context to preserve the environment and improve the living and working conditions of the populations around the Konglor-Natane Cave. The project promotes guided pathways to reduce the impact on the natural environment, while enhancing accessibility and sustainability.
Two Artelia volunteers visited the site to conduct a study of the tourist area. They designed plans for future visitor reception buildings and mapped out the various pathways for tourists.
With the support of the Artelia Foundation and ADV Laos, this was a very positive experience, marked by great team spirit, efficient work, and—hopefully—useful outcomes for the local communities.
Led by Tetraktys with the support of Smergc and the Foundation, the project required a week on site in a remote tourist area of Laos to conduct a study and draft a report.
The friendly atmosphere and everyone’s commitment made this mission especially enriching. We’re staying in touch, and I hope to take part in similar experiences again.
