Training to help exiles find employment
Supporting refugees in finding employment through training programmes that combine French language learning, the development of professional skills and personalised support. The programme aims to promote long-term integration whilst strengthening links between participants, businesses and local stakeholders.
Artelia staff have teamed up with the Weavers charity to support refugees in developing their career plans. They co-led workshops focusing on employability, gaining an insight into the world of work, preparing job applications and looking for work. This initiative enabled participants to strengthen their skills, gain a better understanding of the expectations of the labour market and facilitate their entry into the workforce.
It was a morning full of encounters and meaningful exchanges as we helped the young people from the association prepare their CVs. I’d encourage Artel members to give just a few hours of their time each year – it’s always a chance to broaden your horizons, offer mutual support and find meaning in everyday life. See you soon!
