Artelia Foundation Mobilizes Its Emergency Fund in Response to Disasters in Southeast Asia

Typhoons Tino and Uwan (Fung Wong), Cyclone Ditwah, Tropical Storm Senyar, as well as the low‑pressure systems Ragasa, Bualoi, and Matmo followed one another, causing massive flooding, landslides, and extensive destruction of infrastructure.

These extreme events affected millions of people. Many were isolated for several days, without access to drinking water, electricity, or essential services.

In light of the scale of the situation, the Artelia Foundation activated its emergency fund to support its field partners. Acted, Enfants du Mékong, and Action Education are carrying out emergency operations in the most affected areas: distributing drinking water, food and hygiene kits, rehabilitating wells and essential infrastructure, supporting displaced families, and assisting with the initial stages of reconstruction.

Through this mobilization, the Artelia Foundation is supporting its field partners in meeting the essential needs of affected communities and strengthening their resilience in the face of one of the most severe climate sequences experienced in Southeast Asia in recent years.
